Anyway, for those of you unaware, the Phils came back from a 10-3 deficit today and won 12-11 with an 8 run 7th inning.

With one out in the 7th, Chase Utley came up to bat. The Phillies Win Expectancy at this point in the game? Try .7%. As in, if you played the game out 1,000 games, the Phillies would be expected to win a grand total of 7 times.

The thing is, thats just the beginning of the crazy. They scored 8 runs in the 7th on 4 RBI walks. Lets figure out the odds of that happening. How bout .002% of the time. In 100,000 games, it would happen a little over 2 times.

Yea, so I’ll repeat.
