2009 Playoff Predictions

UPDATE 4/5/09 After changing my NL East projection, it would change the NL to Cubs v. Phillies and Mets v. Dodgers. I still pick the Cubs to win it all, but I would say the Dodgers get past NYM and FOX Execs’ heads explode in delight.

This is a rather safe call for the members of the 2009 playoffs. The East in both divisions will give 2 teams, I’m certain of that, just not certain of which 2 from each.

I think the Red Sox and Yankees are a class above in the AL and should meet up again in the ALCS and Joe Buck will have an orgasm on air.

The Cubs are my pick because I think if they can stay healthy, a somewhat big IF, but if they do, they should walk through the season and be set up to take on the rest of the league in the playoffs.
