Will Goliath Take Down David?

As the big show is right upon us, I have been hit with this sneaking suspicion today that we are in for a few surprises. The Academy this year has shown that they go their own way, and that going with precedent usually is the best move. It is because of this I am thinking Slumdog may not be the lock in best picture we all think it is. Now I’m not saying its a certainty that it will lose, far from it, but I will be far less surprised if Button, and to a lesser extent Milk, come from theoretically out of nowhere to take this down.  

And on the same accord, I am changing my pick to Sean Penn over Rourke.  I just can’t look at precedent and not think that something fishy is going down.
