Have We Met The Mother?

The biggest mystery to all How I Met Your Mother fans is the obvious question of “Who is the mother?”.

We are told in the 3rd season episode “No Tomorrow” that she is at the same party as Ted but we are never told that we see her. A theory is that she is a girl that Ted bumps into, seen here:

Because of Season 1’s “Milk“ we know that the mother is a brunette, petite, and has an olive like complexion.

And in the season 4 finale we are told that she is in Ted’s class.

Now in last night’s episode “Robin 101” we get our first real glimpse of his class, and what do you know we have a brunette with olive like complexion (Above). Now it isn’t the same actress as before, but it may definitely have been possible schedule conflicts wouldn’t allow for her to do it long term.

Now, I say all this really in hopes that I’m wrong because it was announced last week that The OC star Rachel Bilson (hummana hummana hummana) has been cast to play a “key role” on HIMYM’s 100th episode. What that entails is not known, but if she is the mother than…they’ve done it. They win.
