So I thought today’s Beatles topic would be awesome Beatles covers.

This one is from the Concert For George, a night to honor the memory and music of George Harrison. This is a song of his called My Sweet Lord, and is being covered by an all-star line up here.

On drums are not 1, but 2 legends, Ringo Starr and Phil Collins. Playing the keys is one Sir Paul McCartney. On guitar we got George’s son Dhani, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and George’s best friend, Eric Clapton. And singing and playing Piano is legendary “5th Beatle”, Billy Preston.

Preston’s voice is perfect for this song and he rips this song apart. I imagine being in the Royal Albert Hall that night was a once in a life time kind of moment.
