Last weekend, I saw a great new Philly band named Perkasie (named after the town in PA). They reminded me a lot of like She & Him, Bright Eyes (the Cassadaga years), and like a very happy Beirut all mixed together. I mean when you have a washboard player, you know you got a big band. They are fun band to watch live, and they opened with a long rendition of this song Wasting Time (Above) and it was the highlight of the show for me. So check them out here!
