My Life In Technicolor

Review: Terminator Salvation
This will be quick.
This film is everything you expect from a summer popcorn flick…from the 90’s. We have come to expect more out of these kind of franchise films after Spider-Man 2, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, and Star Trek, however Terminator Salvation, starring Christian Bale and Sam Worthington, is nothing but an action film, and a long one at that.
If this was the 90’s this would probably be seen as a decent film. It reminds me a lot of Independence Day except it is utterly humorless and you don’t have fun at all. The movie is just really a downer when the action isn’t going on. The spirit and intrigue that made the original 2 films so great is lost and this is just pretty self-important film.
There are some cool scenes and the action is done pretty well, but thats all it offers.
